These guidelines are intended for law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other parties seeking information about a Fieldza account or resources hosted on our platform. Claims of copyright infringement are addressed separately in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
Disclosure Requests
Fieldza may disclose certain user information in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and other legally binding requests, where required or permitted by applicable law. Any request from a non-account owner for user information should be made through valid legal process unless an emergency exception applies as described below.
To request information regarding jobs, invoices, payments, messages, or other records facilitated through Fieldza, the applicable account holder's name, account identifier (if known), and a specific date range should be included in the request. Fieldza cannot process overly broad, vague, or speculative requests and cannot guarantee that we will have any given records for a particular user. Availability of information depends on our data retention policies, which vary according to the type of information and user actions.
Fieldza will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide information validly requested in accordance with this policy. Fieldza reserves the right to charge users, on a time-and-materials basis, for efforts taken to respond to valid law enforcement requests initiated at a user's request.
Requests from Government Agencies and Law Enforcement
United States Requests
Except in rare exigent circumstances described below, Fieldza discloses user information upon receipt of valid legal process issued under the laws of the United States, including federal or state subpoenas, court orders, or search warrants. We may notify affected users about requests for their account information unless prohibited from doing so by law or court order.
International Requests
For legal requests from government agencies or law enforcement outside the United States, we generally require that the request be made through appropriate international channels, such as a mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT) process or other mechanism recognized under applicable U.S. law, unless we are otherwise permitted to respond directly under applicable law.
Emergency Requests
In emergencies involving imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury, law enforcement may submit an emergency disclosure request to support@fieldza.com with the subject line Emergency Disclosure Request. Emergency requests must include the nature of the emergency, the specific information requested, and the requesting official's name, agency, badge or ID number, and contact information. Fieldza will review emergency requests on a case-by-case basis and may disclose information where we determine, in good faith, that an emergency involving imminent harm exists.
Notification to Fieldza Users
If a request for information is valid, we will preserve the necessary information and make a reasonable effort to notify any affected account owner(s) by sending a message to their verified email address, unless we are prohibited by law or court order from doing so. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may choose not to notify a user if we determine, in our sole discretion, that providing notice would be ineffective, prejudicial, might create a risk of injury or harm to an individual or group, or is otherwise inappropriate in the circumstances.
In most cases, upon notification, the user may have the right to file an objection with the court or otherwise legally challenge the request. If, prior to the deadline, we receive notice that the user has filed an objection or challenge, no information will be delivered until that process concludes, unless otherwise required by law.
