CCPA FAQ
Last Updated: June 26, 2025
This FAQ provides answers to common questions about the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as it relates to Fieldza by Flintime Inc. (“Fieldza”) and our products, including the Fieldza Website, Fieldza for iOS, and Fieldza for Android. For complete disclosures, see our California Privacy Notice.
What is the CCPA?
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, the CCPA), is a California state privacy law that took effect January 1, 2020. It applies to the collection, disclosure, and sharing of California residents' personal information and creates privacy rights for those residents.
Does Fieldza have to comply with the CCPA?
Fieldza may be subject to the CCPA if we meet applicable thresholds for doing business in California. Regardless, we provide CCPA rights to California residents as described in our California Privacy Notice.
What are my rights under the CCPA?
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, request correction, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, limit use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Does Fieldza sell my personal information?
Fieldza does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, which may constitute a "share" under the CCPA. You can opt out via our Privacy Choices page.
What counts as a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA?
The CCPA defines "sale" broadly to include disclosing personal information to another business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" refers to disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. These definitions are broader than everyday use of the words.
How do I submit a CCPA request?
Email support@fieldza.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request," visit our Privacy Choices page, or see our California Privacy Notice for full instructions. We will verify your identity before processing requests.
How does Fieldza use my data in the iOS and Android apps?
The Fieldza for iOS and Fieldza for Android may collect device information, location data (with your permission), photos, and usage data to provide field service management features. See our Mobile App Privacy page for details.
I'm a Fieldza business customer. How does the CCPA apply to my customers' data?
When you use Fieldza to manage your customers' information, you are typically the "business" responsible for that data under the CCPA, and Fieldza acts as your "service provider." Our Data Processing Addendum establishes these roles. Contact us to request a DPA.
How long does Fieldza take to respond to requests?
We aim to respond to verifiable CCPA requests within 45 days. If we need more time, we will notify you of the extension and reason.
