This California Privacy Notice supplements the Fieldza Privacy Policy and applies solely to California residents. Fieldza by Flintime Inc. ("Fieldza," "we," "us," or "our") provides cloud-based field service management software that helps business customers manage clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, scheduling, dispatching, payments, communications, and related field operations (the "Service"). Fieldza is offered through our the website located at https://fieldza.com and any subdomains thereof (the "Website"), our native mobile application for Apple iOS devices distributed via the Apple App Store ("Fieldza for iOS"), and our native mobile application for Android devices distributed via Google Play ("Fieldza for Android"). The Fieldza for iOS and Fieldza for Android are collectively referred to as the "Apps" or "Mobile Apps." The Website, Apps, and Service are Fieldza products owned and operated by Flintime Inc..
We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, “CCPA”). It covers personal information collected through the Website, Fieldza for iOS, Fieldza for Android, and Service.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by the CCPA:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, account username, IP address, and similar identifiers
- Customer records: billing address, payment information (processed by Stripe), and subscription details
- Commercial information: records of services purchased, obtained, or considered, and other transaction history
- Internet or network activity: browsing history, search history, and interactions with our Website, Mobile Apps, and Service
- Geolocation data: general location derived from IP address or precise location where you enable location services in the Fieldza for iOS or Fieldza for Android
- Professional information: business name, job title, industry, and business contact details
- Inferences: profiles reflecting preferences, characteristics, and usage patterns
We collect personal information from you directly, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, from your use of the Service, and from third-party sources such as payment processors and analytics providers.
How We Use and Disclose Personal Information
We use and disclose the categories of personal information listed above for the business and commercial purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including to provide and improve the Service, process payments through Stripe, deliver messages through Twilio, send email notifications through Resend, conduct analytics, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Sale and Sharing
Fieldza does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share personal information with third-party advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, which may constitute a “sale” or “share” under the CCPA. You have the right to opt out as described below.
Sensitive Personal Information
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA, such as providing the Service, ensuring security, and complying with law.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to Know: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes, and categories of third parties with whom we share it
- Right to Delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
- Right to Opt Out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Right to Limit: limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable
- Right to Non-Discrimination: not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your CCPA rights
How to Submit a Request
To exercise your California privacy rights, email us at support@fieldza.com with the subject line California Privacy Request or visit our Privacy Choices page. We will verify your identity before processing your request, which may require you to confirm information associated with your account.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide proof of authorization and we may require you to verify your identity directly.
We aim to respond to verifiable requests within forty-five (45) days. If we require additional time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period.
Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Fieldza does not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact support@fieldza.com.
